Youth & Young Adult Committee

The Susquehanna Youth Committee is a 20-member body representing education, business, juvenile justice, law enforcement, public housing, parents, youth, and youth service providers. Members bring their expertise to the table to advise on programming and to identify service needs and gaps, ensuring high-quality programming for youth and young adults.

Job Fairs

Meet with recruiters and start building a professional network at one of our two annual job fairs, held each year in March and April. The fairs are for youth and young adults (ages 16-24) who are looking for summer employment or a full-time entry-level job.

If members of your organization or agency need first-time training – or a refresher  –  on basic employability information, we’ve got you covered. We offer seminars that cover topics such as job search, career options, and background checks/security clearances/drug testing.

Gain valuable skills and credentials that will help accelerate your career. Our workforce centers can put you on the path to completing your GED or earning an industry certificate or other credential. If learning new job skills, completing an education program and honing your job search skills sounds like the next right move for you, then contact one of our workforce centers today.
